Spanish singer Carmen Linares was born in Linares, Spain on February 25th, 1951. The talented singer made a good name for herself in the Spanish music culture. During the 1970s and 1980s, Carmen worked with music artists like Enrique Morente, Camarón, and Carmen Mora and this was just the beginning of her very successful career.

In 1971, Carmen released her first album in collaboration with Juan Habichuela. It took 13 years before Carmen released her second album Su Cante.

The talented singer has won a Music Award in 2002 and another one in 2011. In 2001, Carmen won a National Music Award, making her the only woman in the art of flamenco to reach this achievement. In 2019, Carmen was on a tour to promote her latest album titled Verso a Verso.
