C. Tangana is the stage name of the Spanish rapper Anton Alvarez Alfaro. He was born in Madrid, Spain on July 16, 1990. He is part of the rap group Agorazein. Alfaro started his career in music in 2006 under the stage name Crema and released several demos under that name, including Madrid files, Septiembre, ElesCrema, Desde la Octava Ventana del Blogue, EGO, and Agorazein. In 2011 he started a rap group with some friends named Agorazein and started going by the name C. Tangana. That same year he released his first work under that name, an LP self titled C. Tangana. In 2014 he released his debut EP Trouble + Presidente. In 2017 he started a Latin American tour called C. Tangana Latino Tour and that same year signed a contract with the label Sony Music. He released the LP Idolo and the mixtape Avida Dollars with the label.
