Busted is a rock band formed in 2002 in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England. The original members of the group are Matt Willis, James Bourne, and Charlie Simpson. The group released their self-titled album in the same year. Their debut album made it to the number two spot of the U.K. albums chart and produced the hits Sleeping with the Light On, What I Go To School For, You Said No, and The Year 3000. The group released another album A Present for Everyone in 2003, and three tracks from the song became top hits. The album led to nominations for Best Pop Act, Best British Group, and Best British Breakthrough Artist. The group went on to released A Ticket for Everyone in 2004, after which the group members pursued solo projects. They will be back together to release the 10-track album Half Way There in February 2019.
