American Idol contestant Bucky Covington is a country-rock singer from North Carolina. He was born on 8 November, 1977, in Rockingham, North Carolina, United States. After graduating from high school, Bucky started his career in music. He would sing and play the guitar with other bands or play solo in clubs. In 2006, he auditioned for American Idol and finished at 8th place but not before he left his mark changing the course of his career. Bucky landed the much coveted GAC Country Music Christmas Tour soon after. He released his self-titled debut album in 2007 and his second album ‘Good Guys’ in 2012.
