Jose Roberto Pulido Jr., better known as Bobby Pulido, is an American singer, songwriter, and actor best known for his Tejano music which blends Mexican and Texas music influences into one genre. Bobby was born in Edinburg, Texas, United States, on April 25, 1973. He began his music career in 1995 when he created his self-titled band with Gilbert Trejo, Mike Fox, Jimmy Montes. His debut album Desvelado was an instant hit as it went on to be certified platinum and won him a Tejano Music Award for Best New Rising Tejano Artist. He has gone on to release the hit singles le Pedire, Se Murio De Amor, and Ojala Te Animes. Bobby has been recognized multiple times by the Tejano Music Awards as the Male Vocalist of the Year, Entertainer of the Year, and for the Song of the Year. He began his acting career in 2003 when he appeared in the Movie Le Decada Furiosa, and he went on to appear in the TV series Noches con Platanito, Fuego, en la Sangre, and Las Buchonas de Tierra Blanca.
