He developed an interest in movies at a young age when he would watch thrillers with the sole purpose of pointing out the technical errors and other flaws he thought could have been avoided.

To share his thoughts on movies with others, he created his BobbyBurnsOfficial YouTube channel in April of 2014. Burns' first movie review was of Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs. The review got a lot of attention, setting the background for Burns' rise to fame.
