Benji B, is the alias of Benjamin Benstead, who is a British music producer, DJ, and radio host. Benstead grew up in London, in a family of musicians. He learned to play saxophone as a child and he even played in an orchestra before discovering mixing sets and electronic music. He started hosting radio shows in 2002 at the BBC Radio show 1. Since then he has regularly hosted radio shows on BBC, besides performing as DJ all over the U.K. In 2018, he was hired by Virgil Abloh, as Louis Vuitton’s first musical director. Together they have collaborated with artists like BadBadNotGood in order to bring a fresh take on menswear fashion shows. Benstead has also worked as a producer with several artists, including Kanye West, with whom he collaborated on the album “Yeezus” and “Life of Pablo”.
