Coming from the United States, The Bacon Brothers is composed of real life brothers Michael and Kevin Bacon. The band was formed in 1995, though as young boys the two were able to play and sing alongside each other. As an actor, Kevin Bacon was already known as an actor who starred on many movies like Footloose and Apollo 13. Michael Bacon on the other hand furnished his musical prowess since the 1970s.
In 1994, the Bacon Brothers was formed for a charity event, where they performed in Philadelphia. They then continued their country-folk performances as a musical duo. Their debut LP “Forosoco” was released in 1997 garnering attention from the media. Then they released “Getting There” followed by “Can’t Complain.” In 2011, a compilation entitled “Philadelphia Road: The Best of the Bacon Brothers” was released.
