A Canadian singer, actor, director and activist, Avan Jogia is of British Indian and English, Welsh and German descent. His first roles were in a series of television films such as Devil’s Diary, Spectacular!
His breakthrough came when he landed the role of Beck Oliver in Victorious; a Nickelodeon kids show, where he worked alongside Ariana Grande and Victoria Justice. Since his time on the show, he has booked a role in Twisted in a main role-playing Danny Desai and the television mini-series Tut where he played Tutankhamun. He can be seen as Dan Nightingale in the upcoming film Paper Year. As a director he has directed a web series called Last Teenagers of the Apocalypse and Of Dogs and Men, a short film.
