Austin French is an American Gospel singer, hailing from Georgia. Touring churches, stages and more when he was still in high school. At the age of eighteen he began working as a worship pastor at the Journey Church in Tifton, Georgia and in 2014 came to prominence when he was a contestant on the show Rising Star, finished as a runner up on the show and sung for judges such as Ludacris, Josh Groban and Ke$ha.

With the success of the show, French moved to Florida and signed with the label Fair Trade, growing his online fan base, the artist has a YouTube channel featuring the covers he did on the television show, including Onerepublic’s Love Runs Out, Alicia Keys’ If I Ain’t Got You and more recently his own single, Freedom Hymn.
