Anthony De La Torre is an American actor, singer, guitar player, and songwriter born in 1993 in Bowling Green, Ohio, USA. He is mostly known for portraying the young Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017). However, his face was digitally blended with that of Johnny Depp, so the actor himself is not entirely recognizable on-screen. De La Torre began his acting career with a voice acting engagement on an American animated pedagogical interactive program for children called Go, Diego, Go! (2005). In 2014, De La Torre made his television debut, appearing in Nickelodeon's comedy series 100 Things to Do Before High School, portraying Anthony Del Rey, a Latino actor. De La Torre portrayed the role of Hellhammer in Lords of Chaos, a horror-thriller movie directed by Jonas Åkerlund that depicts the early black metal scene in Norway. The movie premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and received positive reviews.
