Anthony David Harrington is an American singer and songwriter who was born on December 4th, 1971 in Savannah, Georgia, United States. He was born and raised in Savannah Georgia.

Anthony once worked with India Arie who helped write part of her hit release Part of My Life which was nominated for the Grammy in 2001. He rose to fame with his hit single Words that appeared in 2008 which featured India Arie. He released also released 3 Chords & the Truth and The Red Clay Chronicles in 2004 and 2008 respectively. The 2008 album Acey Duecy reached #30 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. He was also nominated for two Image Awards in 2009 for Outstanding New Artist and Outstanding Duo or Group. He also released The Powerful Now in 2016 and two years later Hello Like Before: The Songs of Bill Withers followed.
