Andy King is a professional football player who currently plays for Bristol City, which competes in the EFL championship. King, who plays as a central midfielder, was born on 29th October 1988 in Barnstaple, England. He started his career with the Chelsea youth setup and later joined the Leicester City youth academy. He was called to the Leicester City senior side in 2006. He went on to make 329 appearances for the Foxes. King and Jamie Vardy were pivotal in helping Leicester City win the Premier League title in 2016.

During his spell with the club, he was sent on out loan to Swansea City, Derby County, Rangers, and Huddersfield Town. In January 2021, he joined the Belgium side OH Leuven on a 6-month deal. In July 2021, he joined the Championship club Bristol City and was named player-coach at the end of that season. King has represented Wales’ U-19 and U-21 sides. He was called to the senior side in 2009 and went on to make 50 appearances.
