ASIWYFA are the acronyms of the band And So I Watch You From Afar. The group originates in Belfast in Northern Ireland. The band is made up of the guitarists: Tony Wright and Rory Friers, the bassist Johnny Adger and the drummer Chris Wee. Though they consider their musical style as post-rock, they are more often categorized as contemporary math rock. ASIWYFA mix the stage savvy and theatrical flair of arena metal with the ferocity and passion of classic 80’s hardcore. The rock band was formed in 2005 in Derry in Northern Ireland. Initially, Bone Crusher (Rory), Blood Gargler (Chris), and face eater (Tony) were in the Zombie Safari Park band until its demise. Gut Slarper (Johnny) was an addition to the band. IN 2007, they teamed up with Driving by Night, La Faro, and Cruz to produce Tonight the City Burns an EP. ASIWYFA distinguishes itself by being near its fans, being often on tours. In 2019, they released ASIWYFA 10 year Anniversary.
