Alexandra Chaves (May 9, 2001 in Ontario, Canada) is a TV Actress and competitive dancer, best known for appearing on Dimensions in Dance. She began playing Piper in season 4 of The Next Step. She also has a YouTube channel where she shares dance routines. One of her most popular routines was called "Fragmented". She choreographed a routine set to the tune of Sia's "Big Girls Cry."

Through dancing, Alexandra has won numerous national and international competitions. She landed a spot in a program for the National Ballet of Canada, as well as membership on the Toronto Raptors junior hip-hop crew.

After being diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmia, Alexandra was prohibited from dancing. This pushed her to pursue a career in acting. In 2016, following a nine month break, Alexandra recovered and took up dancing once more. She was cast in ‘The Next Step’. Her character became a fan favorite in the two seasons she was part of the show.
