Alex Metric is a British DJ, musician, and producer. He was born as Alex Drury, on April 20, 1984, in London, England. Alex Metric started his career by remixing many famous artists such as Depeche Mode, U2, Daft Punk, NERD, Jape, Gorillaz, and many others. In 2006, he released a single named Holding, which earned him his initial success. His debut EP, named Whatshewants, was released in 2007, after being signed to Marine Parade record label. Since then, Alex Metric has released twenty EPs in total, and many more remixes and singles, adding to his already existing popularity. In 2012, a three-song EP, named Ammunition, was self-released by Alex Metric himself. He is a Grammy-award winning DJ and music producer, well-known on an international level.
