Alec Baldwin, born Alexander Rae Baldwin III, is an American actor born on the 3d of April, 1958 in Massapequa, New York. In the early 1980s Baldwin came into the tv scene with roles on many TV shows. In the 1990’s, he started to experiment with his distinctive vocal skills and he got to voice over popular children’s shows like “The Simpsons”. In 1987 Baldwin appeared in his first feature film “Forever, Lulu”. He appeared as a ghost the following year in “Beetlejuice” by Tim Burton, a film that has become a critical and commercial hit. Baldwin continued to perform on stage, and in 1991 he received an Obie Award for his performance in “Prelude to a Kiss”. Baldwin pursued a second career in comedy, as he excelled as a consummate character actor. Already known for his comedic turns, he started hosting “Saturday Night Live”. He was nominated for the Golden Globe Awards from 2006 to 2012 in the category of Best Actor – Television Musical or Comedy and he won the award in 2006, 2008 and 2009.
