Ada Ogochukwu Ehi is a singer, songwriter, recording artist, and performer born on September 18, 1983, in Lagos, Nigeria. She began her musical journey as a backing vocalist at ten. Ada has a degree in Chemical and Polymer Engineering from Lagos State University. In November 2009, she released her debut album, Undenied, which received widespread acclaim and marked the beginning of her music career.
Ada started her music career under Loveworld Records in 2009 but is currently signed to FreeNationINC. She has released five studio albums, including Lifted and So Fly in 2013, Future Now in 2017, Ada's EP Vol.1 in 2019, and Born of God in 2020. She has collaborated with several artists including Nathaniel Bassey, Sinach, Samsung, Fiokee, Eben, and Protek.
Ada has won several awards, including the Groove Awards' Western Africa Artist of the Year and LIMA SongWriter of the Year and Song of the Year in 2017. She has also received nominations at the AFRIMA Awards, African Inspirational Music at the All Africa Music Awards, African Entertainment Awards USA, and the Maranatha Awards USA.
