Sia Furler, best known as Sia, is an Australian multi-awarded songwriter, singer, voice actress and record producer. She was born Sia Kate Isobelle Furler on the 18th of 1975 in Adelaide, Australia. She began her musical career in the early 1990s as a member of acid jazz band Crisp. Her debut solo album as Sia Furler, “OnlySee”, was released in 1997, through Flavoured Records. In 2001, she released another album, this time as Sia. The album, “Healing is Difficult” was very well received by the critics and it included the single “Taken for Granted” which reached number 10 on the UK Singles Chart. She released 6 more albums as a solo artist, including “This Is Acting” in 2016. She has written hit singles for the likes of Rihanna and Beyonce, and she has won many awards, including several ARIA Awards, MTV Awards and NRJ Music Awards.
