5 Seconds Of Summer (also known by their abbreviation, 5SOS) is an Australian band that is made up of members like Luke Robert Hemmings, Michael Gordon Clifford, Ashton Fletcher Irwin, and Calum Thomas Hood – all of whom were born in the early and mid-nineties. They first came together in Sydney and started uploading tracks Luke Robert Hemmings to YouTube: Luke on vocals and guitar, Calum on vocals and bass guitar, and Michael on vocals and guitar. In 2012 they released an EP called ‘Unplugged’ which was number three on the Australian iTunes chart and in the Top 20 in both New Zealand and Sweden. Their song ‘Gotta Get Out’ got a boost in popularity when it was tweeted by one of the members in One Direction. Since they released their first single ‘Out Of My Limit’ in 2012. They took a break from their Take Me Home Tour and returned home to Australia where they played a National headlining tour, with all concert dates selling out within minutes.
