2NE1 is a four-girl band group formed in 2009 in Seoul, South Korea. The group consisted of CL (Lee Chae-rin, born February 26, 1991), Dara (Park Sandara, born November 12, 1984), Park Bom (born March 24, 1984) and Minzy (Gong Minji, born January 18, 1994). CL was the group leader and rapper, Bom lead vocals, Park also vocals, and Minzy rapper & vocals.

2NE1 released their Japanese EP Nolza in September 2011. The band followed it up with Collection, their 2012 full-length effort. The next year they released a couple more singles including Take the World On (featuring rapper will.i.am), Falling in Love, and Do You Love Me. 2014 saw the release of Crush, 2NE1’s third full-length effort overall. The album featured production from Teddy Park, including the hit singles Come Back Home and Happy.

2NE1 disbanded on November 25, 2016.
