Olivia Rodrigo is bringing her love of handmade craft to Etsy. The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter has partnered with the marketplace on the official Daisy Chain Fields Collection, a line of handmade merchandise co-designed with 10 female-owned Etsy shops. It’s Rodrigo’s first collaboration with Etsy.

The lineup skips typical tour merch for personalized keepsakes: junk journal kits, embroidered patches, beaded daisy jewelry, flower crowns, temporary tattoos, hairpins, and custom playing cards. Rodrigo said the idea grew out of a music video for her song “the cure,” where she used all handmade props and sets.

The partnership continues at the festival itself, where Etsy will host a Creative Village letting attendees meet participating sellers and personalize select products.

Daisy Chain Fields takes place on August 29 at Irvine’s Great Park, with proceeds benefiting the Daisy Chain Fields Fund, supporting groups including Baby2Baby and Planned Parenthood. The all-women lineup includes Chappell Roan, Doechii, Mitski, Garbage, Bikini Kill, Santigold, KATSEYE, and Karen O, with Stevie Nicks and Sarah McLachlan as special guests.

The Etsy deal caps a big year for Rodrigo, who released her third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, in June. She’s also recently teamed with LEGO on a music-inspired brick collection and fronted a Lancôme summer beauty campaign. She kicks off her 86-date Unraveled Tour September 25 in Hartford, Connecticut.

For Etsy, the tie-in follows a similar handmade merch push earlier this year with Laufey, PinkPantheress and Willow Avalon’s Festival Shop.

Takeaways

Etsy is doubling down on its “festival shop” playbook, turning merch tables into a spotlight for independent makers instead of another logo drop.

For Rodrigo, tying the collection to a cause-driven festival fund shifts the merch conversation from souvenir to statement; fans aren’t just buying a keepsake, they’re buying into a cause.

Could handmade, seller-led collections become the new standard for festival merch, replacing mass-produced tour tees? Will Etsy’s Creative Village format get picked up by other festivals looking to build fan-maker connections?
