  • Dior has released its Fall/Winter 2026 ad campaign starring ambassadors LaKeith Stanfield and Josh O'Connor, shot by David Sims in the French countryside.

  • Both actors are freshly minted Dior ambassadors: Stanfield was named on Jan. 8, 2026 (his first fashion ambassadorship), O'Connor on Jan. 12, 2026.
  • The shoot is part of creative director Jonathan Anderson's rapid ambassador rollout, which has added ten new faces to Dior since the start of 2026.

Dior has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2026 campaign, with actors LaKeith Stanfield and Josh O’Connor fronting the images. Shot by photographer David Sims in the French countryside, the campaign shows the pair dressed in creative director Jonathan Anderson’s designs for Dior.

Stanfield wears crystal-fringed epaulettes, sequinned tanks and the house’s iconic saddle bag, while O’Connor leans into houndstooth tailoring, ruffled collars and a woven Il Gattopardo tote.

The shoot cements both men’s standing as Dior ambassadors. O’Connor joined the house on Jan. 12, 2026, reuniting him with Anderson, who first named him Loewe’s debut menswear ambassador back in 2017 and later designed his wardrobe for Luca Guadagnino’s “Challengers.”

Stanfield followed on Jan. 8, his first fashion ambassadorship, after a year of red-carpet appearances in the brand, including a custom look at The Fashion Awards 2025.

Both actors are staying busy on screen, too. Stanfield stars in Boots Riley’s “I Love Boosters,” which opened SXSW in March to a 95% Rotten Tomatoes score, and recently joined a Netflix courtroom drama alongside Jonathan Bailey and Laura Dern.

O’Connor is currently on screens in Steven Spielberg’s “Disclosure Day” and has Joel Coen’s “Jack of Spades” on the way.

The campaign lands as Dior has added ten new ambassadors since January, including Drew Starkey, Taylor Russell, and Mike Faist, part of a broader push that has also put Jenna Ortega and Jisoo and Jisoo, Anya Taylor-Joy and Willow Smith in Dior beauty campaigns this year.

Takeaways

This campaign isn’t really a standalone shoot; it’s the payoff of Anderson’s larger project of rebuilding Dior’s public face around people he already trusts.

O’Connor’s inclusion is basically a continuation of a nine-year creative relationship that started at Loewe; Stanfield’s is a bet on someone with almost no prior fashion-house history a year ago.

Put together, they show two different ambassador strategies running side by side: loyalty casting and cultural discovery casting.

It’s also worth noting how fast this is all moving. Ten new ambassadors in the first seven weeks of 2026 is an aggressive pace for a house built on rarity and mystique, which makes the campaign as much a story about Dior’s current strategy as it is about two well-dressed actors in a field.

Does adding 10+ ambassadors in the first seven weeks of 2026 risk diluting the exclusivity that luxury ambassadorships are supposed to signal? Could this be the moment LaKeith Stanfield’s personal style becomes as central to his public identity as his acting or music?
