  • Bang & Olufsen has named John Legend its new Global Brand Ambassador in a two-year deal announced July 15, 2026.
  • Legend was a genuine longtime B&O customer (home speakers and H100 headphones) before ever becoming its spokesperson.
  • The partnership will include curated performances and listening sessions tied to his upcoming music.
  • Legend joins past B&O campaign faces Charles Leclerc and DJ Khaled on the brand's ambassador roster.

Bang & Olufsen has named John Legend its new Global Brand Ambassador, kicking off a two-year partnership with the multi-platinum, EGOT-winning artist, announced July 15, 2026.

The Danish audio company says the deal embodies its “Beautiful Sound” philosophy, pairing Legend’s reputation for restraint and emotional depth with the brand’s century-plus of craftsmanship.

Legend was a Bang & Olufsen owner long before he became its spokesperson. He still describes the stereo of his childhood as “a record player, a cassette player, and an eight-track all combined into one,” and keeps the brand’s speakers in the piano bar of the Beverly Hills home he shares with his wife, Chrissy Teigen, and their four children, plus its flagship H100 headphones for travel.

Over the next two years, Legend and the brand will stage curated performances and other storytelling efforts tied to his craftsmanship-focused artistry.

The deal lands during a busy stretch for his team: Legend signed with Roc Nation for management, while Montblanc has appointed him ambassador of its Montblanc Legend fragrance collection. In April, he launched the Loved01 Cares caregiver support initiative through his personal-care brand.

For Bang & Olufsen, Legend joins a celebrity roster that has included Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc, who fronted a campaign in May 2024, and DJ Khaled, who endorsed the brand back in March 2016.

Takeaways

This one’s less “celebrity gets paid to smile next to a product” and more “brand finally catches up to a customer it already had.” Legend was quietly kitting out his own home with B&O gear for years before anyone drew up a contract; that’s a harder authenticity flex than most ambassador deals can claim.

The timing also says something about Legend’s business machine right now. Between re-signing with Roc Nation for management and keeping Montblanc’s fragrance line running, this isn’t a one-off; it’s a coordinated year for his brand portfolio.

And a two-year commitment, where a lot of deals are built around a single campaign cycle, B&O seems to be betting on Legend as a recurring cultural presence, not just a face for one ad run.

Does being a real, pre-existing customer make an endorsement land differently with fans than a typical celebrity pairing? Could “curated listening sessions” become B&O’s signature format for future ambassador deals?
