MCM has tapped DJ Khaled and We The Best for a new luxury capsule collection, marking the second time the pairing has worked together.
The collection blends both brands’ design languages across leather goods, apparel, accessories, and footwear, giving fresh treatments to MCM staples like the Stark Backpack and Ottomar Weekend bag.
“MCM has a legacy of doing things properly, and We the Best has never accepted anything less,” Khaled said. Dirk Schönberger, MCM’s Global Chief Brand Officer, called the drop “a landmark moment” for the label’s 50th anniversary.
The collection launches July 9 through MCM stores and its website, with a dedicated two-week pop-up at Bloomingdale’s 59th Street in New York.
This builds on Khaled’s existing MCM ties: he fronted the 2025 MCM x SNIPES “Make It Miami” capsule as SNIPES’ Chief Creative Officer, a Miami-inspired line that sold out fast.
The new deal keeps Khaled’s 2026 brand run rolling, a stretch that already includes being named global brand ambassador for SportyBet and fronting Buffalo Wild Wings’ Bottomless Apps campaign, all while prepping his 14th studio album, Aalam of God.
On MCM’s side, the brand has built a roster of high-profile faces beyond Khaled, including Billie Eilish and Honey Dijon, reinforcing its push to pair German luxury craftsmanship with culture-driving names.
Takeaways
Khaled keeps proving he’s more than a celebrity face; he’s a repeat creative partner brands keep coming back to. Pairing that with MCM’s milestone anniversary signals the brand wants relevance with younger, culture-first audiences, not just heritage buyers.
