  • South Korean math-rock quartet Dabda signed with boutique agency Anniversary Group for exclusive worldwide live representation.
  • Booking agent Zach Silva will direct the band's global touring schedule, headline concerts, and festival bookings.
  • The deal supports Dabda’s 2026 sophomore album ON(百) and their upcoming debut North American tour this November alongside Shanghai Qiutian.

South Korean indie rock band Dabda has signed with Anniversary Group for worldwide live music and touring representation. Booking agent Zach Silva will manage the band’s global tour dates, festival appearances, and headline runs.

Formed in Seoul, the quartet features vocalist and guitarist Kim Jiae, drummer Lee Seunghyeon, bassist Noh Keohyeon, and guitarist Park Jungwoong.

Dabda first earned recognition with their 2016 debut EP Island of Each. They broadened their international profile with their 2020 debut studio album, But, All The Shining Things Are, and a 2021 collaborative single, “Jungle Gym,” with drummer Takashi Kashikura of Japanese math-rock group toe.

After releasing their 2023 EP Yonder, the band performed at prominent events including the Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival and overseas showcases such as The Great Escape in the United Kingdom.

Before joining Anniversary Group, Dabda managed their touring independently. This worldwide deal marks the band’s first formal partnership with a dedicated global booking agency.

The signing arrives during a pivotal year for the band. Following pre-release singles “DDDD!” in late 2025, and “Dear Hope” and “Choo-Choo” in 2026, Dabda released their second full-length album, ON(百).

Under Silva’s guidance, the band will launch their debut North American tour this November, co-headlining across the United States and Canada with Chinese indie outfit Shanghai Qiutian.

Dabda’s addition bolsters Anniversary Group’s global alternative footprint, following the recent North American signing of Slow Caves under agent Thomas Konitzer.

Takeaways

Dabda’s worldwide signing with Anniversary Group highlights how non-English indie bands are moving beyond the DIY touring circuit. For years, South Korean math-rock and post-rock groups had to rely on festival grants, overseas cultural showcases, or informal exchanges to play outside Asia.

Partnering with a dedicated agency gives Dabda access to structured routing, professional club circuits, and better packaging opportunities across North America and Europe.

For boutique agencies like Anniversary Group, signing established international acts with loyal niche followings offers a reliable live draw in mid-sized venues where audiences value intricate musicianship over mainstream radio hits.

How effectively will Anniversary Group be able to integrate Dabda into major North American indie and math-rock festivals? Will this signing pave the way for more Western booking agencies to recruit independent Korean rock acts outside the mainstream K-pop system?
