Anthony Ramos has signed with United Talent Agency (UTA) for representation in all areas, departing Creative Artists Agency (CAA) after several years there.
The deal is led by agents Jordan Gorelick and Nigel Meiojas, who will spearhead his Film/TV – Theatrical business, while the agency supports his broader career, including his music and commercial ventures.
Anthony Ramos broke out originating the dual roles of John Laurens and Philip Hamilton in Broadway’s Hamilton, earning a Grammy Award and a Primetime Emmy nomination for the show’s Disney+ stage recording.
He went on to lead In the Heights as Usnavi, landing a Golden Globe nomination, and has since starred in blockbusters including Twisters, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, and A Star Is Born opposite Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.
Ramos continues to be managed by Range Media Partners, with whom he signed for management earlier this year, and remains with The Lede Company for publicity.
The signing lands amid a steady run of UTA additions to its film and TV roster. Actress Emma Roberts joined the agency in June for her work across American Horror Story and her Belletrist production banner, while Lovie Simone, star of Netflix’s Forever, signed with UTA that same week.
Takeaways
This is more of an agency swap than a full representation overhaul: Ramos is keeping his manager (Range) and publicist (Lede) in place, and just moving the agency piece from CAA to UTA.
It also lines up with a broader pattern: UTA has been actively pulling established film/TV names this year, from Emma Roberts and Lovie Simone to earlier signings like Marin Ireland, Maddie Ziegler, and William H. Macy, suggesting the agency is positioning itself as a top landing spot for talent reshuffling representation in 2026.
Does Ramos’ move signal UTA gaining ground on CAA and WME in theatrical representation? Will UTA lean into its music division to grow Ramos’ recording career alongside his acting slate? Could this be part of a bigger 2026 wave of A-list actors reshuffling their agency representation?
