The signing arrives on the momentum of RETROSPECT, her ninth studio album released May 15, 2026 through her independent imprint Planet 9 in partnership with Virgin Music Group.
The project, her first full-length in eight years, is a funk, soul, and R&B-drenched record steeped in the sounds of late-’70s and ’80s Minneapolis funk, featuring collaborations with Too $hort and 21 Savage.
