Under the agreement, WME music agents Richard Vega, Robert Markus, and Richard Lom will run his global booking schedule.

The signing lands during an active chapter in Wisin’s career. He recently launched La Universidad del Perreo, a 12-track studio album paired with an educational platform designed to mentor the next generation of urban talent.

On the live stage, Wisin delivered an unannounced guest appearance during a headline set at Coachella, performing a run of classic reggaetón anthems.

Wisin first earned international prominence as one half of Wisin & Yandel, producing enduring hits like “Rakata,” “Mayor Que Yo,” and “Pam Pam.” In 2009, the duo earned the Grammy Award for Best Latin Urban Album for Los Extraterrestres, marking the first time a reggaetón act took home that honor.

As a soloist, Wisin has led Latin charts with hits such as “Que Viva La Vida,” “Si Lo Hacemos Bien,” and “Que Se Sienta El Deseo.”

Outside of touring, Wisin’s operational infrastructure remains steady following his recent management transition to D27 Entertainment.

Working directly with manager Chris Duque after concluding a longtime run with Walter Kolm Entertainment, the reggaeton pioneer continues his recording partnership with Sony Music Entertainment while retaining Mayna Nevarez at Nevarez Communications for publicity.

The moves reflect WME’s accelerating push into Latin and contemporary touring throughout 2026, building on key global signings that secured Colombian star Fonseca for worldwide representation alongside Venezuelan standout Dani Barranco.

Takeaways

Wisin joining WME underscores the enduring commercial value of foundational reggaetón creators in today’s live ecosystem.
