The producer continues his long-standing partnership with Merge Talent Group for management, keeping his release strategy, creative direction, and business operations intact.

The new agency deal arrives during a productive career stretch for Skanka. Known among West Coast fans as the “People’s Champion of Drum and Bass,” the artist established his presence after supporting REAPER on the Bassrush-presented Challenger Tour at Avalon Hollywood. He has also earned consistent bookings from top bass promoters, including Respect, Timeless, and Bassrush.

In 2026, Skanka kicked off his most ambitious era yet with the rollout of Metro:Skanka, led by the single “On My Way,” accompanied by headlining performances across California clubs and the DNBNL Block Party in Los Angeles.

The addition reflects the continued expansion of Corson Agency’s electronic department. The booking agency has steadily diversified its dance and bass lineup throughout 2026, bolstered by key North American representation deals for both Control Freak and Angel Cannon.

Takeaways

The drum and bass renaissance in North America is no longer just an overseas export, it is producing homegrown touring draws, and boutique agencies are actively building infrastructure around them.

By teaming up with Mike Puliz at Corson Agency, Skanka secures a seasoned agent who understands niche bass scenes while opening doors to large-scale festival circuits like EDC and Lost Lands.

Retaining Merge Talent Group ensures that Skanka’s core brand and project identity remain tight, preventing the disconnect that sometimes happens when artists switch teams mid-cycle.

For Corson Agency, adding Skanka right alongside previous roster wins reinforces their role as a primary launchpad for the next generation of American electronic talent.

How do you see the current surge in American drum and bass reshaping major US festival lineups? Does signing with a focused boutique agency like Corson give rising electronic producers more leverage than joining a giant conglomerate?

Los Angeles-based drum and bass DJ and producer Skanka has officially signed with Corson Agency for live music and touring representation across North America.
