He is co-managed by Uriah Tejada of Raw Material.

The move brings Posner’s business full circle. Chisholm managed Posner during his meteoric rise from Duke University dorm rooms to worldwide pop prominence, delivering multi-platinum smash hits such as “Cooler Than Me” and the global hit “I Took a Pill in Ibiza.”

In recent years, Posner paired his musical craft with remarkable endurance feats, including a 3,000-mile walk across America and summiting Mount Everest.

He recently launched a reflective new chapter with his March 2026 single “I Went Back To Ibiza,” celebrating ten years of sobriety, alongside an extended rework with David Guetta and his late 2025 electronic collaboration with YDG on “Please Don’t Go.”

While Chisholm steps in to lead Posner’s management alongside co-manager Uriah Tejada of Raw Material, the rest of his team remains steady. Posner continues with United Talent Agency (UTA) for worldwide touring representation. His communications stay anchored with align Public Relations.

For recorded music, he remains aligned with Arista Records, a label where Chisholm formerly served as West Coast Senior Vice President.

The move reflects a broader wave of artists reshaping their representation in 2026. It aligns with several recent high-profile team shifts, including Jackson Wang partnering with Roc Nation to steer his global ambitions and rising electronic producer Jackie Hollander signing with Milk & Honey to expand her international touring footprint.

At Head Coach Music Group, Chisholm has cultivated a boutique, artist-friendly stable that includes viral sensation Tai Verdes and indie-pop act MAYOR for management.

Takeaways

Returning to a former manager is one of the most telling decisions a veteran musician can make. In an industry where artists often chase the latest agency shakeup or viral trend, choosing to return to original leadership signals deep personal trust, mutual respect, and clarity of purpose.

Ryan Chisholm and Mike Posner already proved they can turn bedroom demos into worldwide chart-toppers. Today, Posner is in a very different headspace than he was during his early twenties.

He is an endurance athlete, mental wellness speaker, and sober songwriter whose 2026 music directly honors that growth. Chisholm understands both sides of Posner’s journey: the commercial pop machine and his introspective artistry.

With Chisholm’s label expertise and Head Coach Music Group’s focused roster, Posner secures the custom support needed to build a lasting legacy on his own terms.

Do artists produce their best work when they reunite with the managers who originally helped them break out? How do you think Mike Posner’s sobriety and endurance mindset will influence his next album cycle under Head Coach Music Group?

Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and producer Mike Posner has officially reunited with his former manager, Ryan Chisholm, signing with Chisholm’s firm, Head Coach Music Group, for management.
