Agents Alex Bruford and Sam Lister are leading the deal.

The band continues with Ground Control Touring for North American bookings, Youth-Artist for management, Pitch Perfect PR for public relations, and 4AD for their record label.

Formed in 2017, Dry Cleaning is made up of vocalist Florence Shaw, guitarist Tom Dowse, bassist Lewis Maynard, and drummer Nick Buxton.

The band broke through with the EPs Sweet Princess (2018) and Boundary Road Snacks and Drinks (2019) before signing to 4AD and releasing its acclaimed debut album New Long Leg in 2021, followed by Stumpwork in 2022.

The band’s third album, Secret Love, arrived on January 9, 2026, produced by Cate Le Bon. Dry Cleaning has a packed run of dates booked through the fall, including Green Man Festival in Powys, La Route du Rock in Saint-Malo, and Crossing Border Festival in the Netherlands, plus shows in Chile and Brazil in September.

The deal adds Dry Cleaning to a growing list of UK acts ROAM has signed in 2026 for similar worldwide-excluding-North-America deals, including London art-punk act Man/Woman/Chainsaw and London jazz-fusion project TOAST CLUB.

Takeaways

This is ROAM continuing to build out its UK post-punk and alternative roster right as Dry Cleaning’s touring cycle behind Secret Love picks up steam.

Keeping Ground Control Touring in place for North America while handing the rest of the world to ROAM suggests the band’s camp sees different needs on each side of the Atlantic.

It also fits a wider pattern. ROAM has spent 2026 signing both emerging and established UK guitar acts, from newer names like Man/Woman/Chainsaw and TOAST CLUB to now a well-established act like Dry Cleaning. That range says a lot about how the merged agency is positioning itself against bigger competitors.

Could ROAM’s expanding UK roster help push Dry Cleaning into bigger festival slots across Europe next year? Does keeping Ground Control Touring in North America signal a slower, separate build for the US market?

South London post-punk four-piece Dry Cleaning has signed with ROAM for live music and touring representation worldwide, excluding North America.
