Dan Oestreich, a two-decade fixture of New York’s punk and hardcore community, has launched Superglue Music, a new artist management and touring company based in New York and Toronto. The company was quietly established in 2025 and made its public debut this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oestreich’s r\u00e9sum\u00e9 spans nearly every corner of the independent music business. He’s promoted hundreds of shows, co-owned the now-shuttered Brooklyn venue The Acheron, partnered in a van-and-backline rental company, and served as production manager at Saint Vitus from 2018 to 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He spent five years at Another Management Company, working with artists including Mdou Moctar<\/a>, Snail Mail<\/a>, Chelsea Wolfe<\/a>, and Tim Heidecker<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Superglue’s management roster launches with Heidecker, Angel Du$t, Dillinger Four, Home Front, Poison Ru\u00efn, B\u00e9ton Arm\u00e9 and STER\u00d6ID. Its booking arm, Superglue Touring, represents Gorilla Biscuits, Cold World, Bold, CIV, Dark Thoughts, Judge and Straight Ahead. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That division is co-led by Toronto promoter Greg Benedetto of Not Dead Yet and New York agent John Scanlon, who brings his own hardcore booking roster into the fold. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holly Cartwright, most recently of New Community Management and previously of Level Group and Another Management Company, joins as General Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The artists I work with aren’t just clients; they’re people I’ve known, respected and believed in for years,” Oestreich said in a statement announcing the launch, adding that Superglue is about applying two decades of lessons toward helping artists build sustainable careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Superglue arrives amid a broader wave of independent management startups this year. In June, publicist Jennie Church-Cooper launched Hello Sailor Media Management<\/a>, and tour veteran Michael Bryan started Southern Drift<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Superglue joins that momentum, but with a roster built almost entirely from relationships Oestreich has cultivated over 20 years rather than a wave of cold signings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Superglue isn’t a story about outside capital chasing hardcore’s growing festival economy; it’s a founder converting two decades of trust into a company. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s notable in a year where several new management shops have launched from operators who built relationships long before they built a letterhead, echoing the trajectories of ventures like Hello Sailor and Southern Drift. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heidecker’s move from New Community Management is the clearest signal of how personal these relationships are: he’s essentially following Oestreich and Cartwright, not the brand name on the door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
