{"id":47908,"date":"2026-08-03T16:17:48","date_gmt":"2026-08-03T16:17:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bookingagentinfo.com\/news\/?p=47908"},"modified":"2026-08-03T16:18:00","modified_gmt":"2026-08-03T16:18:00","slug":"the-sways-sign-with-rounder-records","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bookingagentinfo.com\/news\/the-sways-sign-with-rounder-records\/","title":{"rendered":"The Sways Sign With Rounder Records"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Sways have signed with Rounder Records, the storied independent label built around roots, folk, and Americana talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Arizona trio (Kyle Miller, Andrew Tyler, and Adam Bruce) built their following with no label at all, self-releasing their debut single, &#8220;I Have Been the Moon,&#8221; in July 2025 and a five-track, self-titled EP that September. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The EP&#8217;s centerpiece, &#8220;Someday We Will Dream About Today,&#8221; has amassed more than 25 million global streams and generated over 200 million views across Instagram and TikTok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rounder&#8217;s Jeanette Porcello (Senior Director of A&amp;R) and Andy Serrao (Chief Creative Officer) said the band&#8217;s music is &#8220;honest and beautifully crafted&#8221;, pointing to the connection The Sways had already built with fans on their own. The band&#8217;s label debut single, &#8220;All I Ever Wanted Was You,&#8221; is available now on all streaming platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The deal leaves the band&#8217;s live business untouched: THE\u00b7TEAM continues handling worldwide touring representation. This fall, the band joins The Brook &amp; The Bluff as direct support on an 18-date US tour kicking off Oct. 2 in Alabama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Rounder, the signing extends a run of folk and Americana additions built on streaming momentum. The label added alt-folk artist <a href=\"https:\/\/bookingagentinfo.com\/celebrity\/anna-graves\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Anna Graves<\/a> in November 2025 off her own viral single, and Oklahoma singer-songwriter Ken Pomeroy released her acclaimed Rounder debut, <em>Cruel Joke<\/em>, that same year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The signing lands amid a busy stretch of 2026 label movement. Decca Records signed <a href=\"https:\/\/bookingagentinfo.com\/celebrity\/elle-limebear\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Elle Limebear<\/a> as <a href=\"https:\/\/bookingagentinfo.com\/news\/elle-limebear-signs-with-decca-records\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">its first contemporary Christian artist in company history<\/a>, and doom-metal veterans <a href=\"https:\/\/bookingagentinfo.com\/celebrity\/the-obsessed-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Obsessed<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/bookingagentinfo.com\/news\/the-obsessed-signs-with-heavy-psych-sounds-records\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">inked a worldwide recording deal with Heavy Psych Sounds Records<\/a> for a 2027 album. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Takeaways<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Going from a self-produced bedroom EP to a Rounder deal in under a year shows how far one viral streaming moment can carry a band when the songwriting backs it up. Rounder isn&#8217;t discovering The Sways so much as formalizing a fanbase they already built themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Keeping THE\u00b7TEAM in place for touring while Rounder absorbs the recorded side signals this is a growth play, not a rebuild; the label is adding reach and resources to a machine that&#8217;s already running.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Can &#8220;All I Ever Wanted Was You&#8221; match the reach of their breakout streaming hit?
