Season 1 of Prime Video’s Off Campus, based on her hockey-romance series about four Briar University players, premiered in May and pulled in 36 million viewers worldwide in its first 12 days, now Prime Video’s third most-watched debut series ever.

Kennedy has since expanded the universe with the Briar U and Campus Diaries series, plus the beach-set Avalon Bay trilogy.

Her standalone novel Girl Abroad is in development as a series from Bridgerton creator Chris Van Dusen, with A24 and Pacesetter producing. Writing under the pseudonym E. Kennedy, she also released the YA mystery thriller Thornbird on June 30, which debuted straight onto the New York Times Bestseller list.

Circle Management + Production, the rebranded former Circle of Confusion, represents talent across film, television, theater, and literature, including bestselling novelist Taylor Jenkins Reid, whose Daisy Jones & The Six the company executive-produced for Prime Video. Adding a hitmaker like Kennedy, fresh off her own streaming success, fits that pattern.

The move also lands amid a broader wave of layered representation deals in 2026. align Public Relations made a similar addition, signing Camila Cabello for worldwide publicity while she kept her existing management and booking team.

Takeaways

This reads less like a shake-up and more like a “stacking” move; Kennedy isn’t dropping anyone, she’s adding a management layer built for producing, right as her IP starts generating real screen value beyond the book deal.

Circle M+P’s track record with Taylor Jenkins Reid and Daisy Jones & The Six suggests it likes signing authors who already have hit adaptations in motion, and Kennedy checks that box loudly with Off Campus.

Will Circle M+P look to executive produce a Briar U or Campus Diaries adaptation next, following the Daisy Jones playbook? Does this signal more book-to-TV authors adding production-focused management on top of their literary agents?

Off Campus author Elle Kennedy has added new representation, signing with Circle Management + Production for management.
