Perry Ellis has named actor, filmmaker, and musician Alexander Ludwig its new Global Brand Ambassador, a deal timed to the brand’s 50th anniversary as it works to refine its market positioning around elevated essentials and tailored looks. The campaign launches in August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perry Ellis cited Ludwig’s rugged, authentic charm and polished red carpet style, along with his ability to balance a busy Hollywood schedule with a love of the outdoors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Todd Challe, Perry Ellis’ SVP of global marketing, said Ludwig embodies the modern Renaissance man, moving seamlessly from the outdoors to the red carpet. Ludwig said he’s admired Perry Ellis for years and is grateful to join a company built on confidence, individuality, and timeless style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This marks Ludwig’s first formal partnership with Perry Ellis. For Perry Ellis, the deal follows its 2023 partnership with Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, which paired the NFL star with a heritage-inspired capsule collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ludwig is currently filming the fourth season of HBO’s “The White Lotus” and will appear in Netflix’s thriller “Unabomber” this fall. He’ll also star opposite Emma Roberts<\/a> in “Hal” and make his directorial debut alongside Carla Gugino<\/a> in the indie drama “Billings,” where he’ll also lead the cast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deal adds Perry Ellis to a busy summer of ambassador news: Canali just gave Ethan Hawke its first-ever Global Brand Ambassador title<\/a>, and Loewe brought on David Jonsson<\/a>, both arriving soon after Florence Pugh’s global ambassador role at Bulgari<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
