Corridos del Rey has signed a management deal with VHR Music. The masked Colombian singer, known for concealing his identity behind a mask and a Tejana hat while delivering faith-based lyrics over corridos instrumentation, will now be co-managed by VHR Music CEO Victor Hugo Ruiz and his longtime manager, Gustavo Ariza. Ariza is based in Colombia, while Ruiz operates out of the U.S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ariza said he trusted Ruiz because they share a long-term vision for the project, and because of the calm, transparent way Ruiz carries himself in business. Corridos del Rey echoed that, saying he wants to learn the business side of the industry from partners with real experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The signing follows the viral explosion of his breakout single “Ayer Habl\u00e9 con Dios,” which has generated more than five million TikTok video creations and 19 million-plus YouTube views since its April release. Its June remix featuring Farruko landed at No. 2 on Billboard’s Best Latin Songs of 2026 midyear list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Houston-based VHR Music was founded by Ruiz in 2004 to promote his own group before shifting into artist management; its most notable success remains helping steer Grupo Frontera toward global stardom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
