The roughly 25-piece men’s and unisex capsule spans denim, woven bottoms, rugby shirts, and sweaters, in a palette of greens, tans, whites, and burgundy that American Eagle CMO Craig Brommers said draws from Yamal’s hometown and “feels rich like the Spanish culture.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The capsule is the next step in a five-year global ambassador deal signed in January 2026, which first produced the \u201cReady for the World\u201d campaign<\/a> that launched just before the FIFA World Cup. <\/p>\n\n\n\n “We’re still riding the World Cup wave,” Brommers said, noting the internal rally cry became “From Yamal to the mall.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n The timing lines up with a historic month for the 19-year-old winger. Spain beat Argentina 1-0 in the July 19 World Cup Final at MetLife Stadium, making Yamal the youngest player ever to win both the World Cup and UEFA European Championship. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Over that weekend, American Eagle temporarily rebranded itself “Lamine’s Eagles,” reworked its logo around his initials, took over Times Square with celebratory billboards, and renamed a denim style “The 19 Jean.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
