The agency will work with Sherman as she builds out her film and TV footprint alongside her original projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At WME, her team includes Matthew Balick in Film\/TV Literary, Michelle Bohan and Perry Weitzner in Film\/TV Theatrical, Samantha Korn in Comedy, and Tim Curtis and Max Rudman in Brand Partnerships. She moves over from UTA and continues with Rise Management for film\/TV management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sherman joined <em>SNL<\/em> as a featured player in October 2021 and was bumped to repertory status in 2023, becoming one of the show&#8217;s standout players. Last December, she released her debut comedy special, <em>Sarah Squirm: Live + In The Flesh<\/em>, directed by Cody Critcheloe and featuring John Waters, on HBO. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She&#8217;ll next appear in Mubi&#8217;s slasher <em>Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma<\/em> from writer-director Jane Schoenbrun, which premiered in the Un Certain Regard section at this year&#8217;s Cannes Film Festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The signing adds Sherman to a busy year of comedy pickups for WME. The agency recently landed <em>Anora<\/em> breakout <a href=\"https:\/\/bookingagentinfo.com\/celebrity\/ivy-wolk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ivy Wolk<\/a> in a <a href=\"https:\/\/bookingagentinfo.com\/news\/ivy-wolk-signs-with-wme-for-representation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">similar move from UTA<\/a>, and signed <a href=\"https:\/\/bookingagentinfo.com\/celebrity\/michael-tiddes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Michael Tiddes<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/bookingagentinfo.com\/news\/michael-tiddes-signs-with-wme-for-representation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">after his <em>Scary Movie<\/em> reboot crossed $200M globally<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WME also broadened its unscripted bench this year, <a href=\"https:\/\/bookingagentinfo.com\/news\/melissa-gorga-signs-with-wme-for-representation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">adding <em>RHONJ<\/em>&#8216;s Melissa Gorga<\/a> for brand partnerships and content development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Takeaways<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is WME doubling down on a talent type it&#8217;s clearly bullish on in 2026: sharp, internet-savvy comedic voices with real crossover credibility. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sherman isn&#8217;t just an <em>SNL<\/em> cast member; she&#8217;s got a horror film out of Cannes, and an HBO special under her belt, which is exactly the kind of multi-hyphenate profile agencies want to package into bigger deals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Keeping Rise Management and her legal team in place while adding WME&#8217;s muscle suggests this is about scaling opportunities, not restructuring her core team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Does WME push Sherman toward more prestige film roles, or lean into her <em>SNL<\/em> brand for scripted\/unscripted deals?
