James Ivy, the Korean-American producer, singer, and songwriter from New Jersey, has signed with Ground Control Touring for live music and touring representation across North and South America. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Agents Lindsay Ibberson and Josh Stern will handle his booking at the Brooklyn-based boutique agency. Ivy was previously represented for live bookings by THE\u00b7TEAM and continues with FADER Label for management and Orienteer for publicity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ivy has spent years quietly building one of indie-alternative’s more compelling live r\u00e9sum\u00e9s. He released his debut EP Good Grief!<\/em> in Fall 2020 via FADER Label, then hit the road as direct support on Porter Robinson’s massive Nurture Tour through North America and Europe in 2021\u20132022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Spring 2023, he joined Keshi’s North American arena run, including two nights at Radio City Music Hall and two nights at the Greek Theater in LA, alongside the release of his trip-hop and shoegaze-tinged sophomore EP Everything Perfect<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ground Control Touring, founded in 2000 by Eric Dimenstein<\/a> and Jim Romeo<\/a>, has been steadily expanding its indie-alternative roster. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agency recently signed artists such as Mage Tears<\/a> and Jejune<\/a> for worldwide representation, reflecting a continued focus on emerging acts with serious live momentum. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ivy joins a GCT roster that also includes Japanese Breakfast<\/a>, Waxahatchee<\/a>, Parquet Courts<\/a>, Kurt Vile<\/a>, and Magdalena Bay<\/a>, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
