His fiddle-driven album Neon Never Fades, released January 2026, marks his first full-length since 2019 and features collaborations with Chris Stapleton alongside songwriters Barrett Baber and Bobby Pinson.

The standout cut “Who’s Hanging the Moon?” topped the Texas Regional Radio Report as the most-played Texas country song of 2025.

In November 2026, Weathers heads to the UK as support for Drake Milligan, hitting Birmingham, Bristol, London, Manchester, and Glasgow.

Off stage, Weathers co-founded an international mission fighting human trafficking in India and El Salvador and spearheaded a social media livestream that raised over $500,000 for Hill Country flood relief in July 2025.

At UTA, Weathers will be represented by agents Lauren Holland, Brian Hill, and Alec Vidmar. He continues to be managed by Adam Hale at One Twenty One Management and retains Kimberly Brian for public relations.

Takeaways

Josh Weathers signing with UTA isn’t just a business move, it’s a signal that Texas country’s moment has gone fully mainstream.

An artist who built his name through relentless regional touring, viral live moments, and community impact is now backed by one of the most powerful agencies in global entertainment.

UTA’s remit covers far more than touring: filmed entertainment and brand partnerships are on the table, suggesting Weathers could be positioning for crossover opportunities beyond the Texas circuit.

Add in a UK run alongside Drake Milligan and a fresh publishing deal with Sea Gayle Music, and 2026 looks like the year Weathers graduates from regional star to national, and potentially international name.

Can Josh Weathers translate his Texas fanbase into a mainstream national audience with UTA’s backing? Will the UK tour with Drake Milligan open doors for Weathers in the European country music market?

United Talent Agency (UTA) has signed Fort Worth, Texas singer-songwriter Josh Weathers for worldwide representation in all areas.
