Agents Troy Lusk, Pat Schmitt, and Rebekah Plattner will oversee their booking. Management stays with Alex Luke.

Formed in Vancouver around 2022 and now rooted in Brooklyn, smush released their debut album if you were here, i’d be home now via Zegema Beach Records and Candlepin Records in June 2024, earning strong critical buzz in shoegaze and dream pop circles. In February 2026, they followed up with the standards ep, mixed by Sonny DiPerri.

Tour Peachy, founded in 2021 by Troy Lusk, has been on an active signing run, most recently inking Niina Soleil and Sex Mex for worldwide representation.

Pat Schmitt, who joined Tour Peachy after founding Save The Cat Touring in 2022, and Rebekah Plattner, formerly of 33 & West, round out the team on this deal.

Takeaways

This signing is a real statement of intent. smush entering a full worldwide booking deal, no territory carve-outs, means Tour Peachy is betting on their global potential right out of the gate.

For a band that’s been building largely through word-of-mouth and critical acclaim in the shoegaze underground, agency backing of this scope opens doors to festival slots, international touring, and the kind of infrastructure that turns a buzzy indie act into a proper touring machine.

The triple-agent setup (Lusk, Schmitt, and Plattner) also signals that smush is being treated as a priority signing, not a filler addition to the roster.

Does a full worldwide deal signal a major international tour from smush in the near future? Can Tour Peachy translate smush’s cult underground following into mainstream festival bookings?

smush, the Brooklyn shoegaze duo of Emily Borrowman and Atley King, has officially signed with boutique indie agency Tour Peachy for worldwide live music representation.
