WME has signed Academy Award-winning filmmaker Aaron Schneider for representation in all areas. He will be repped by agents Matt Martin and Trevor Astbury in the Film\/TV Literary department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schneider’s most well-known directing credit is Greyhound<\/em>, the naval warfare-themed WWII film written by and starring Tom Hanks, which became one of Apple’s early breakout originals. He is currently in post on the sequel, Greyhound 2<\/em>, which has not yet been dated for release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His debut feature, Get Low<\/em>, a TIFF drama starring Robert Duvall<\/a>, Bill Murray<\/a>, and Sissy Spacek<\/a>, earned the Independent Spirit Award for Best First Feature. Before directing, he built his career as a cinematographer, earning two consecutive ASC Awards and an Emmy nomination for his work on Murder One<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He shot the pilot episode of Supernatural<\/em> and the features Kiss the Girls<\/em> and Simon Birch<\/em>, and also served as second-unit director of photography on James Cameron’s<\/a> Titanic<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
