Ebony Naomi Oshunrinde (popularly known by the stage moniker Wondagurl) is a professional producer who was born on December 28, 1996, in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, to Jozie Oshunrinde. She is of Nigerian descent.
Ebony began making beats with her keyboard with drum pads when she was just 9. When she was 15 she entered the Beat Makers competition in Toronto, Ontario, and won first place bringing home a trophy and a Roland GAIA Synthesizer. That led to a blossoming relationship with rapper and producer Travis Scott. In 2015 she produced Company and Used To from Drake’s If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late album; she was 18 at the time.
Ebony produced Jay-Z's Crown from his 2013 Magna Carta Holy Grail album. She worked with Rihanna as a co-writer and producer on her hit song B**** Better Have My Money. Other prominent artists she worked with include Mariah Carey, Lil Uzi Vert, Big Sean, Jay-Z, Drake, SZA, Young Thug, and Killy.
