Vishal & Shekhar is a musical duo formed in 1999 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The duo comprises Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani, who oversees music composition, production, singing, and songwriting. Vishal is the vocalist of the electronic band Pentagram and a former VJ at Channel V, while Shekhar is a trained classical singer who contested in the singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 1997.

Their first project was for the Hindi movie Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi. They are associated with T-Series, YRF Music, Sony Music India, and Zee Music Company. They have over three billion views on YouTube, 72 number one singles, and over 350 film soundtrack features. Their discography includes Salaam Namaste (2005), I Hate Luv Storys (2010), Student of the Year (2012), Chennai Express (2013), and Hasee Toh Phasee (2014).

The duo served as judges on The Voice Kids India, MTV hustle, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Voice of India – Mummy Ke Superstars, Indian Idol, and Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar.
