The Sisterhood Band is a country music duo consisting of Alyssa Bonagura and Ruby Stewart who both come from families that are considered music royalty. Alyssa Bonagura was born on 01 April 1988, in Franklin, Tennessee, United States. Her parents were prolific singers Kathie Baillie and Michael Bonagura. She's a child prodigy and has been singing since she was only 3 years old. She graduated from the illustrious Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts in 2009. In 2015, she formed the Sisterhood Band along with Ruby Stewart. Ruby Stewart was born on 17 June 1987, in Los Angeles, United States, to the legendary Rockstar Rod Stewart. Ruby toured with her father as a teenager and began a budding modeling career as an 18-year-old. Following a successful modeling career, she ventured into singing and formed The Sisterhood Band along with Alyssa Bonagura. With whom she bonded over their mutual love for iconic singer Joni Mitchell.

The Sisterhood Band signed a recording deal with Sony Music Nashville in 2017 and released their debut EP ‘Summer Setlist’ the following year. They have performed at Grand Ole Opry sharing the stage with Darius Rucker, Wynonna Judd and Little Big Town.
