Tamika Mallory is an American activist and co-founder of Until Justice. Born Tamika Danielle Mallory on June 8th, 1980, in The Bronx, New York City; the advocate was born into an influential family. Father Stanley and mother Voncile Mallory were the founding members of the NAN (National Action Network) in Al Sharpton - of which Tamika was the Executive Director from 2011-2013.

Tamika majored in communications and received her degree from College of New Rochelle. After a tragic incident where one of her family members was killed due to gun violence, Tamika started her career as a powerful force. She was part of the Barack Obama administration as an advisor on gun control rules and regulations for V.P. Joe Biden.

In 2017, she organized the powerful Women’s March together with Carmen Perez, Bob Bland, and Lina Sarsour. In 2020, she made a strong impact on the public when she spoke out against police brutality in Minneapolis.
