He was born in California and learned to play the guitar, piano, and ukulele as a child.

While on the basketball team at Babson College, he continued to pursue his passion for music and eventually dropped out. Despite working at a phone store during the coronavirus outbreak, he continued to pursue his musical dreams and released his breakthrough single "Stuck in the Middle" in August 2020.
