Tahar Rahim is an actor born on 4th July 1981 in Belfort, France. He is best known for appearing in the prison crime film “A Prophet”, which earned him the Cesar Award for Best Actor. He started his career in 2006, playing Tahar in the film “Tahar l'étudiant”. In 2006, he played the role of a policeman in the horror film “Inside”. In 2011, he landed a role in the epic historical drama film “The Eagle”. His other notable appearances include “The Informant” in 2013, “Samba” in 2014, “Daguerrotype” in 2016, “The Price of Success” in 2017, and others.
He made his television debut in 2007, portraying Yazid Fikry in the television series “La Commune”. In 2015, he appeared in 6 episodes of the crime drama television series “The Last Panthers”. Three years later, he starred in the television miniseries “The Looming Tower”. His other appearances include “The Eddy” in 2020 and “The Serpent” in 2021.
