Smile Empty Soul is a musical band initially formed by three young boys in Santa Clarita high school in 1998. The band comprises a singer, a guitarist and a drummer.

Sean Danielson was the head of the group, and he happens to be a guitarist and a singer, while Derek Gledhill and Ryan Martin helped with the drum and bass guitar, respectively.

As they say, things get better with time. The group honed their skills, consequently opening several doors of opportunity for them.

As expected, the band met several notable people like John Lewis Parker and David Holman. These guys were responsible for producing and mixing the band’s debut album titled ‘Smile Empty Soul. The 2003 debut album sold over half a million copies and was certified gold in 2005.

Though the pop-centred group started as a group of three, several other people had to join at a point and later left for one reason or the other.

Presently, Sean Danielson and Ty Del Rose seem to be the only ones left in the group.

The group has hundreds of singles to their credit.
